M.D.
Dr. Robert McQuitty is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered ENT care for both children and adults.
Dr. McQuitty works closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that reflect their goals, preferences, and lifestyle.
His clinical interests include allergies and sinus disease, thyroid and parathyroid disorders, sleep apnea, head and neck masses, skin cancers of the head and neck, hearing loss, ear infections, and recurrent tonsillitis. He also provides a full range of surgical treatment options for sleep apnea, particularly for patients who have not found success with CPAP therapy.
“I believe the best care starts with understanding each patient’s unique concerns, goals, and priorities. My approach is to listen first, build a collaborative relationship, and develop a personalized treatment plan that fits the individual, not just the diagnosis. Whether we’re discussing medical therapies or surgical options, I want every patient to feel informed, comfortable, and confident in the decisions we make together.”
A Texas native, Dr. McQuitty earned both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University. He went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine from The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB), where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He then completed his residency training in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at UTMB.
In addition to caring for patients, Dr. McQuitty has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and presented research on sinus disease, airway management, sleep-disordered breathing, and head and neck surgery.
Dr. McQuitty welcomes new patients and enjoys helping individuals and families find solutions that improve their health, comfort, and quality of life.
